HOW TO TRADITIONAL WEDDING IN MINANGKABAU

                Minangkabau is a culture which several rule in people Minangkabau’s life, for example in wedding of Minangkabau. The stage of this wedding can not do random, they must to be a good arrange.

                 There are several stages of wedding Minangkabau traditional ceremonies , including ; The first  Maresek, in this stages introduction of both prospective bride . Because they adhere to matrilineal system , then the procession is usually the bride who came to the party with the groom carrying the hand like fruit cake. The second is  Maminang or Minang peple called Batimbang Tando. This stage is the woman 's family came back to the family of a man to propose . Procession marks exchange will be forwarded if the proposal is accepted . This procession involves elders from both sides of the family bride complete with carrying betel nut arranged in Kampia ( bags made from pandan leaves ) were presented to the families sampled men. Next, Mahanta siriah. This procession is to ask for permission to stage the bride and groom 's parents. After that Babako, babako is the procession of the women ( babako ) showed his affection by contributing bear wedding expenses in accordance with their capabilities , and performed a few days before the ceremony. And the last is Malam bainai. This stage bride finger finely decorated with crushed red henna leaves when this activity is doing at night . The procession symbolizes the love the bride's family elders on the bride.

                Minangkabau culture from the point of marriage is to be there is kinship between the families of the groom and the bride. They got to know each other and should be able to appreciate each other.
